Cambodia Gambling Halls

There is an interesting story to the Cambodia gambling halls that lie just across the dividing line from next door Thailand, in which casino betting is prohibited. Eight gambling dens are established in a generally small location in the metropolis of Poipet in Cambodia. This collection of Cambodia gambling dens is in a perfect area, a 3 to 4 hour drive from Bangkok and Macao, the two biggest wagering locations in Asia. Cambodia gambling dens do a thriving business with Thai workers and visitors from Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, with only very few Westerners. The amazing income gained from the gambling halls ranges from 7.5 million dollars to over twelve and a half million dollars, and there are a few limitations constraints for gambling den ownership. Ownership is assumed to be largely Thai; although, financing sources are ambiguous. The borders are officially open from 9:00 a.m. to 17:00, and though visas are apparently required to cross, there are ways around this, as is real of most border crossings.
The 1st Cambodia gambling halls premiered in Phnom Penh in 1994, but were required to close in the late nineties, leaving just one gambling den in the capital, the Naga Resort. The Naga, a stationary barge gambling hall, highlights one hundred and fifty slots and 60 table games. The Naga river boat never closes with forty two tables of mini-baccarat banque, 4 tables of 21, ten of roulette, 2 of Caribbean Stud Poker, and one each of Pai-Gow and Tai-Sai.
The initial casino in Poipet, the Holiday Palace, opened in the late nineties and the Golden Crown before long opened. There are 150 slots and 5 tables at the Golden Crown and one hundred and four slot machine games and 68 table games at the Holiday Palace. The latest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort features three hundred slot machines and seventy tables and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has 166 slots and ninety six table games, including 87 baccarat banque (the most beloved game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Also, there is the Casino Tropicana, with 135 one armed bandits and sixty six of the familiar tables, as well as a single table of Casino Stud Poker. Another one of the eight gambling halls in Poipet, again a part of a hotel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six slot machines and 97 games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an international vacation and hotel compound that features many luxuries in addition to the gambling hall, which has ten thousand sq.ft. of one hundred and thirty slot machine games and 88 tables.
