Don’t Drink … Gamble!

If you like to have a drink every now and then, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your billfold, and keep all cash, credit cards and checks at home. Only take whatever money you intend to use on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to squander and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You could experience a win after a boozy night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a 25 minute roll at a hot craps game. Keep that adventure seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you continually drink and wager. The pair simply don’t mix.

Leaving your money at home might be a little drastic, but defensive measures for drastic actions is necessary. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink and play. If you like to toss away your assets without a worry, then consume all the free alcohol you can handle, but do not take plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of going after losses after your inebriated self loses everything!

Allow me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then head on the net to gamble in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beer from the coziness of my apartment, however seeing that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink and wager.

What’s the reason? Although I do not drink a lot, once I drink alcohol, it’s certainly sufficient to befuddle my better judgment. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both make for a decimating, and expensive, drink.
